Harry Smith Social Club (H.S.S.C.)

The popular Harry Smith social club (H.S.S.C) runs every friday night at Rochdale Gateway centre on Kenion street, Rochdale and has a regular attendance up to 150 individuals every week.

The club welcomes individuals with a learning disability 18+ to come and socialise, make friends, have a dance and let their hair down in a safe and enjoyable environment. 

Doors open at 7pm and the club usually runs until 9.30pm (later if a special event is on).

Carers are welcome to come along and support or individuals can attend independently.

There is a cafe where light refreshments can be purchased and enjoyed. Also in the cafe is the Nintendo Wii station where there are plenty of games to chose from and played on the wall mounted flat screen TV.

In the main hall is where you can enjoy games including Bingo, raffles, pool table and ‘play your cards right’. There is a disco on every Friday with our live resident DJ. There are also regular live acts on including an Elvis tribute!

The Harry Smith social club offer opportunities for volunteers to develop skills in their support of running of the club.

Admission price is £3 (changes if special event is on)
Unless stated different within the schedule, events start at 7pm and end at 9:30pm.
