Celebrating Julie: A Huge Thank You as a Beloved Colleague Retires

At Rochdale Gateway Leisure, our strength lies entirely in our people. Today, we have a mix of happy and sad emotions as we say a massive thank you and a very fond farewell to one of our most valued team members, Julie, who is beginning her well-deserved retirement!

If you have visited Gateway over the years, chances are you have been greeted by Julie’s warm smile and kind heart. She has been an incredibly dedicated part of the Gateway family, and her presence is going to be deeply missed by everyone here.

A Legacy of Kindness and Hard Work

Julie’s time with us has been defined by her unwavering hard work, her commitment to our mission, and, most of all, the genuine kindness she has shown day in and day out.

Whether supporting our members, helping out colleagues, or working alongside our fantastic volunteers, Julie has consistently gone above and beyond. She has a wonderful gift for making people feel seen, supported, and valued, leaving a lasting, positive impact on so many lives within our community.

To celebrate her special day, we surprised her with some cards, gifts, and an absolutely spectacular cake covered in fresh fruit to sweeten the occasion!
