Adult Lifestyle Provision Service (ALPS)
ALPS is a friendly welcoming day service that is set amid the scenic area of Shawforth, approx 5 miles from Rochdale town centre.
The ALPS group was set up in 1998 and has grown from strength to strength through the years, we provide a varied choice of activities catered around each individual needs / abilities:
- Fishing
- Gardening
- Education outings
- Aromatherapy
- Cooking sessions
Over the years the group have developed many projects that benefit the group and others from the local community.
During the summer months the group can be seen planting and maintaining our own vegetable patches, enjoying barbecues or going for nature walks in the near by Healey Dell.
We currently have 3 vehicles which we use to access activities in and around Rochdale.
Why not pop in to see us and if you are lucky you may be able to sample some of our delicious home baked treats.
