HSSC (Harry Smith Social Club)

The Harry Smith Social Club is a long-running Friday night social club for adults (18+) with a regular attendance and capacity of 150 people.

HSSC was set up over 30 years ago, and is a self-sustaining club which caters for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

The club aims to improve individuals lives, allow individuals to connect with others, make new friends and grow support networks beyond their existing relationships, and provides further volunteering opportunities. It also increases social activity and independence for individuals through personalisation.

The club have established a good membership process, together with a code of conduct in place which safeguards and protects individuals and makes the club a safer and more enjoyable social event. HSSC offers a wide range of activities which include a disco, pool table, live acts, entertainment, games, bingo, karaoke, competitions, food, and soft drinks.

We have a monthly up and coming events calendar.
