Rochdale Council will be hosting another co-production meeting at Gateway – Rainbows Café, welcoming people with autism, carers, families and supporters to help shape the autism webpage.

Autism Co-Production Session – Join Us!

We’re pleased to invite you to our next Autism Co-Production session, taking place on:

📅 Tuesday 27th January
⏰ 11:00am – 1:00pm
📍 Rainbows Café, Gateway

This session is an opportunity for autistic people, families, carers, and professionals to come together and share ideas, experiences, and feedback. Your voice matters, and co-production helps us shape services and activities that truly reflect the needs of our community.

The session will be informal and welcoming, with a relaxed environment where everyone can feel comfortable taking part. Tea and coffee will be available in the café.

If you’re interested in having your say and working together to make positive changes, we’d love to see you there.

No booking required – just drop in.

H.S.S.C Friday Night Club – Temporary Closure

Due to the forecast of snow and ice from this evening onwards, H.S.S.C (Friday Night Club) will be closed on Friday 09-01-26 to ensure the safety of all our members, staff, and volunteers.

Christmas & New Year Opening Hours – Rochdale Gateway Leisure

As the festive season approaches, we’d like to share our Christmas and New Year opening hours for Rochdale Gateway Leisure, along with an update on group activities over the holiday period.

We hope this helps you plan ahead and enjoy a well-earned break over Christmas and New Year.


Services & Locations Open Over Christmas

The following services will be open on the reduced festive timetable:

Rochdale

Shawforth – Millgate House

Shaw, Harper Square – Oldham


Christmas & New Year Opening Hours

We will be open on the following dates:

  • Monday 22nd December: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • Tuesday 23rd December: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • Monday 29th December: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • Tuesday 30th December: 9:30am – 3:30pm

Normal hours will resume on Monday 5th January 2026.


Normal Opening Hours

Outside of the festive period, our usual opening hours are:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 3:30pm


Group Activities – Christmas Break

Please note that all group activities will be paused for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. This includes:

  • Zumba

  • Harry Smith Social Club

  • Art Group

  • Music Group

These activities will restart when normal services resume in January.
