STRIVE Day Service

The service provides care, recreational and educational activities 5 days a week.

Strive is situated approx ½ mile from Gateway’s main base on Lincoln street just off Oldham road (map). The building is fully adapted to meet all of the needs of our service users and is wheelchair friendly.

A variety of delicious, hot, nutritious meals are prepared and cooked daily on site. We accommodate and cater to all dietary requirements.

The group enjoys a good balance of slow and fast paced activities ranging from Zumba, drumming circle and rebound therapy, to hydrotherapy, light stimulation and aromatherapy.

Strive own 3 vehicles, including a bus, so service users can be transported within the community to access lots of different activities.

The staff at Strive pride themselves on offering a very personal service and work very closely with service users and families to make sure that this is achieved.
